The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organized a Ramadan group Iftar on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan for its employees and their families, in the presence of Saif Rashed Al Mazroui, Assistant Undersecretary For Institutional & Support Services, on Monday 7/7/2014, at the Armed Forces Officers Club in Abu Dhabi.

Al Mazroui welcomed the attendees and emphasized that this gathering is in response to the directives of his Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan to make use of the religious and national occasions through holding different activities, and this occasion is considered a good opportunity for communication between the Ministry’s employees and their families, which positively reflects on their performance at work, and enhances harmony and cooperation between them.

Al Mazroui, on behalf of the Minister, extended sincere congratulations to the Ministry’s employees and their families on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Iftar was followed by a religious lecture delivered by one of the lecturers from the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, in which the lecturer talked about the virtues of the Holy Month and what distinguishes it from the rest of the months, he also talked about the health and psychological benefits of fasting for Muslims, and many other benefits.
