His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research congratulated governmental and public university graduates in the country who achieved a (4) average during the academic year 2012-2013, and the first semester of the academic year 2013-2014 on their excellence. His Excellency awarded the students certificates of recognition, commemorative shields and IPads, commended their academic achievement, wished them success in their careers and studies in the case they choose to pursue higher studies, and urge them to move onto graduate studies and scientific research and not to stop at any limit, adding that scientific research is the way to build the country with their hands which the state hopes for, and that the State leadership, headed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has not and will not skimp on their material and moral support, and will provide them with all that is needed and remove all constraints in front of them in the preparation of national cadres to build a base and infrastructure to achieve knowledge economy to reach the UAE Vision 2021.

33 female and male students from various degrees were honored, from the UAE University, Zayed University, Higher Colleges of Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology- Dubai, and the Computer College, in different disciplines, including Accounting, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, Management of E-Business, Finance, Education and Politics Management, Education, Educational Studies, Medical Sciences, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Information Systems and Networks Management and Sustainable Human and Social Studies.
