His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, called on his Arab counterparts and the stakeholders in their countries to participate in the 4th International Conference of Arabic Language, which will be held in Dubai from the 6th to 10th of May, 2015.
His Excellency explained in his correspondences with the Arab Ministers of Higher Education, the importance of holding this international conference in its 4th edition after it achieved great success in the previous conferences, which were attended by hundreds of researchers, specialists, officials, and decision-makers, and that this unique occasion is worth everyone’s support and advocacy in order to promote the sincere efforts in the Arab States to support the Arabic language, which need integration, cooperation, and solidarity of all governmental and private institutions.
The Minister reiterated the importance of inviting professors, researchers, specialists, universities, and higher education institutions to attend and participate, in order to exchange experiences and learn about the latest developments and issues facing the Arabic language at all levels, and he pointed out that the results of Mohammed bin Rashid Arabic Language Award will be announced in conjunction with the holding of this Conference, and hoped that everyone will participate in it according to the conditions and controls that have been developed by the authorities supervising the Award.
The Conference will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and is organized by the Arab League, Arab Maghreb Union, UNESCO, ALECSO, Arab Bureau of Education for The Gulf States, Association Arab Universities, International Council for Arabic Language, and a number of Arab and international organizations and bodies.
The Conference is based on the scientific research and studies as well as worksheets, creative initiatives, reports, and successful experiences, which contribute to enriching the scientific research with information and field facts from their primary sources, for the purpose of spreading the Arabic language and using it in all areas, especially in education, administration, labor market, trade and industry, scientific research, culture, media, technology and other vital areas.
These scientific researches are subject to arbitration by the Scientific Committee at the Conference, and they will be printed in the books of the Conference and distributed to the Conference’s participants, and the outstanding researches will be published in the specialized scientific journals.
