His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has approved on July 28th, 2015, the list of 2014/2015 high school graduates who have been accepted into the three federal institutions of higher education. The total number of students admitted is 18000, including 3954 accepted for studies at UAE University, 8489 at the Higher Colleges of Technology, 1812 at Zayed University, 2941 for colleges and institutions that fall under the management of Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical & Vocational Education and Training, 135 for Emirates College for Advanced Technology, 509 for Khalifa University, and 160 students who were granted scholarships and grants for the academic year 2015-2016.
This list included for the first time, grade 12 students who completed their national military service on May 28th 2015, each according to their choice of institution and specialty, in accordance with the Federal Law 6/2014 regarding national military service The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has posted the names of the approved students on the website: https://www.mohesr.gov.ae/napo. The approved students must use their user name and password to access their electronic page on the website and confirm their admission acceptance at the relevant institution starting from July 29th, 2015. For more information about each institution, the students should log on to the institutions’ respective websites. SMS messages were sent out to all these students by NAPO. Students approved for scholarships must contact the Scholarship and Cultural Foreign Relations Department through the email mohesr.gov.ae. Students whose names do not appear on the official list of approved students should contact the National Admissions and Placement Office or the Scholarship and Cultural Foreign Relations Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to check their application status and/or to complete admission registration procedures.
