In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the scientific objectives of UAE Mars Mission Project, details of time for the project, technical characteristics of the probe to be sent by the UAE to Mars in mid- 2020, and the quality of the studies to be conducted by the UAE Project on the Red Planet were unveiled for the first time. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
