His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education And Scientific Research, met with his Excellency Hwang Woo-Yeo, Deputy Prime Minister of South Korea, on the sidelines of the Government Summit, the held since April 9th in Dubai, during the meeting, they discussed ways of mutual cooperation between the UAE and South Korea, in particular with regard to education in general, during the meeting they also emphasized the importance of the community focusing on supporting the education of women, and the great attention paid by the UAE since its inception to the education of women, and not only focusing on the local level, but the UAE Government is also keen to assist other countries around the world to promote gender equality.
The Korean Minister commended the speech of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, where Sheikh Mohammed stressed the importance of developing education systems and using innovation to reach the competencies and capabilities to enable the achievement of the desired development at the international level.
At the end of the meeting the Minister Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in the field of education with the Republic of South Korea and develop relations to promote education at all levels, since the highlights of this Summit are the innovation in teaching and paying attention to the learning outcomes and view the experiences of others.
