Emirates eGovernment has launched an online survey to gauge user opinions about usability of the federal portal of the UAE Government (government.ae).
The survey reflects Emirates eGovernment s belief in the importance of users feedback and suggestions in developing the portal. The official portal of the UAE has recently been awarded “Best Federal Portal” in the 2nd GCC eGovernment Conference and Award held in Kuwait.
Three participants in the survey will be selected to win an iPad each. The Winners will be announced during the 40th National Day celebrations on December 2nd. The survey will remain open till the end of December.
Salem Khamis Al Shair Al Suwaidi, Director General, Emirates eGovernment said, “We depend on users views and feedback in developing all our projects that serve the public, including the federal portal. Although this is the first online survey about the portal, yet we constantly seek users opinions and feedback through social media, forum, discussion groups and other tools.”
“Involving users in the process of developing the federal portal conforms to the UAE Government Strategy which emphasises on transparency in order for federal entities to offer government services that meet users needs,” he added.
