The Ministry of Public Works’ Offices in Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Regions, have marked the UAE’s 40th national day anniversary with colourful programmes and activities.

As part of the activities, the delegation of the Ministry in Eastern Region visited Fatima Al Mughani in Khor Fakkan. Al Mughani is a former member of the Sharjah Consultative Council. She is a national figure, whose contributions in the national occasions are significant. She had also played a pivotal role in the Emirati women empowerment process.

The delegation presented a symbolic gift to Al Mughani in recognition to her role. He thanked the delegation for its gesture.

In Northern Region, the organising committee in coordination with group of pilots of gliders in the emirate carried the UAE flag and photos of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

In Western Region, Eng. Abdullah Al Qursi, Director of the Ministry in Western Region presented gifts to the employees.

While in Eastern Region, Eng. Mahmoud Abdullah Al Awadi, presented at heritage village in Khor Fakkan a detailed explanation about the projects in the region.
