Upon the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the National Media Council (NMC) has launched Unified Customer Service Charter for NMC clients.
The launch of the Charter came within the UAE Excellent Government Service Program and in the framework of direction aiming at raising standards of government’s competition and excellence to keep pace with global standards for excellent service in the public and private sectors.
Sheikh Hamdan, said: “The Unified Customer service Charter confirms the principles of federal government”.
He also noted that the Charter represents a new challenge and an incentive for workers in the National Media Council because it represents the leadership’s commitment to the clients and this put a great responsibility on all the employees to provide a distinguished service.
The distinguish services provided by NMC staff through dealing with customers include transparency, respect and professionalism through a cooperative team in addition to responding to requests in a timely manner without delay to ensure the provision of accurate information and proper service procedures.
It also includes the customer’s responsibilities to get the best service including mutual respect and providing required papers and documents prior to the completion of transactions in addition to responding to any inquiries from the service team.
