The Ministerial Council for Services has called for developing a strategy to preserve the strategic commodities and necessary items.
The remark was made in the meeting of the Council held today under the chairmanship of H. H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Ministerial Council for Services.
The council called for devising a well thought out plan to continuously preserve the necessary commodities in coordination with competent authorities. When completed the plan will be submitted to the Council.
It approved the new organisational structures of National Media Council and the Marriage Fund Corporation. The Council also gave a nod to the Ministry of Economy to start preparation of a draft law regulating the anti-dumping, countervailing and preventive measures.
It also discussed the final account reports of Audit Bureau of Dec. 31, 2010, on National Statistics Centre, Institute of Training and Judicial Studies, Al Zakat Fund and the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
The Council discussed a number of issues in the agenda and took a number of appropriate decisions.
