Efforts being made by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of National Media Council (NMC), to develop the media landscape in the UAE have drawn appreciation from a prominent Romanian researcher.
In an impressive article published by Romanian media following his visit along with a group of Romanian journalists to the UAE on the invitation by the NMC to attend celebrations of the UAE’s 40th national day, Professor Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation, said :”Your Excellency, It is with great pleasure that I express the highest appreciation for the outstanding ceremonies and international media presence at the festivities organized in honor of 40th National Day of United Arab Emirates”.

On the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of UAE national day, he affirmed, the National Media Council had proved ability to present to an international audience a comprehensive coverage of UAE achievements, development and dedication to the progress, peace and development.
”National Media Council, under Your Excellency visionary leadership, proved the ability to present information with accuracy in performance and media content, transparency , objectivity and high credibility in media coverage,”he added.
He noted that the way that the international media participation at the 40th National Day Celebration of United Arab Emirates was organized was irreproachable, making the National Media Council an institution appreciated internationally for the high quality of the work involved into this ceremonies.
The program for media delegation, he added, was rich in information, positive in essence, offering a perfect area of meetings with key political, cultural and economic actors from United Arab Emirates and creating the portrait of a country in continuous and harmonious development.
