UN commissioner-general for the 2012 Yeosu Expo Samuel Koo, has praised the efforts made by the National Media Council and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the Council, in bolstering cooperation between the two sides during international events.
During a meeting held here today with the NMC Director General, Mr. Koo expressed thanks to Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak for the great support the NMC had offered to the UN Pavilion during Expo 2010 Shanghai in China.
The meeting also discussed ways to boost cooperation between the NMC and the UN pavilion during 2012 Yeosu Expo.
