DUBAI: The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme is taking part in the forthcoming GITEX Technology week scheduled between 9-13 October 2011 in Dubai.
The participation in the biggest and most eagerly awaited technology show in the Middle East is upon directives from Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme.
Mohammed Abdul Aziz Jasem, Executive Director of Support Services at the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, stressed the body’s keen interest in taking an active part in the global event which provides a platform for major technology corporations, organizations and entities.
He noted that the Programme will be showcasing a group of its electronic services including the recent “My Government” initiative by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to boost communication between the federal government and its customers.
At GITEX, he noted, the Programme will inaugurate the Housing Forum which will showcase a number of researches and studies on housing in the UAE.
A number of strategic services will be put on display by the Programme at GITEX for the first time. These include refreshing data on applications for housing aid provided, inquiry about the categorization of contractors and consultants, displaying details on progress made at the beneficiary’s project, online direct technical support , communication with the technical team to report any difficulties uses might face and the e-file service for all parties to the contract of constructing housing units.
More than 45 e-services related to applicants, beneficiaries, contractors and strategic partners will be showcased by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme at the forthcoming event.
