l Ain, Sep 29th, 2011 (WAM) — The team Heads and Coordinators of excellence at the National Media Council (NMC), held a meeting at the NMC office in Al Ain under the chairmanship of HE Abdullah Al Falasi, Executive Director of Support Services.

Directors of various departments and members of teams also participated in the meeting.

Welcoming the participants, Al Falasi stressed the importance of communication and internal collaboration among the NMC staff. The transfer of knowledge and dissemination of the culture of innovation and excellence should become a way of life for all members, he added.

The meeting discussed a number of topics, which included the creation of knowledge about the tasks to be carried out by teams of excellence in the third quarter, according to NMC’s Strategic Plan. The meeting also made a review of activities and tasks carried out so far and stressed the importance of specialised training courses for each department. The proposals, ideas and initiatives put forward by the teams of excellence were also reviewed.
