WAM Abu Dhabi, Feb 13th, 2011 (WAM) — Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan received at his Palace in Abu Dhabi today, Dr. Quraish Alkasir, Scientific Adviser to Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
They discussed ways to develop relations between UAE and Iraq, particularly in the fields of higher education and scientific research.
Sheikh Nahyan, in the presence of Minister of Public Works Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Labor Saqr Ghobash and Chairman of the Umm Al Qaiwain Land Department Sheikh Marwan Al Mualla, also received Moroccan Minister of Education Latifa El-Abida, who is currently visiting the UAE to take part in the opening of the new campus of the University of Paris Sorbonne Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting they discussed enhancement of cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education and scientific research
