WAM Abu Dhabi, Dec 05th, 2010 (WAM) — Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the National Media Council inaugurated on Sunday the cultural and media exhibition associated with the 31st Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit which will open in Abu Dhabi tomorrow.
The inauguration ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel was attended by GCC Secretary General Abu Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Director of the Department of Information at the GCC Secretariat Dr. Ahmed Zbeban and media delegations from member states.
Sheikh Hamdan also opened the media center at the Intercontinental Hotel, which provides information services for Arab and foreign journalists and correspondents accredited by the National Media Council (NMC).
