WAM ABU DHABI, March 28th, 2010: Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the Board of National Transport Authority H.E Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al-Nahyan received German Federal Minister of Traffic, Building and Urban Development Dr. Peter Ramsauer.
The meeting which was held on the sidelines of the International Road Safety on Four Continents Conference, at Yas Hotel, discussed venues of cooperation in the field of railway transport, transport safety and technology systems.
Sheikh Hamdan expressed appreciation of Germany’s expansive experience and expertise in railway transport.
He also welcomed the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of the railway sector between the Authority and the German Ministry.
Ramsauer presented Sheikh Hamdan with an invitation to visit Germany WAM/MMYS.
