His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, confirmed that the His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s honoring for graduates of the Scholarship of His Highness the President of the State, who are scientifically distinguished and obtained high academic scores in the prestigious international universities, is an honor and appreciation to them, as they exerted effort and spent much time to get the highest degrees and excel in them, and raise the UAE’s name in the academic forums abroad. It is also an incentive to other students to exert more efforts and have more academic achievements, to receive such honor and appreciation, and to contribute to the building of their State, and to the localization of knowledge economy that achieves UAE Vision 2021.
This came during the presence of His Excellency, on Monday, December 21st, 2015, in the honoring ceremony for (139) students of those graduates, which was organized by the Scholarship Office of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs at the Emirates Palace. His Excellency said: “We are counting so much on these students, and we provide scholarships for rare specialties that the sectors of the State need, which lead the sustainable development, and we encourage them to enter the areas of space, renewable energy, physics, genetics, and other specialties needed by the labor market in the State. We also emphasize the importance of innovation and creativity that will put the UAE in the list of the best countries in the world in 2021”.
His Excellency explained that the Scholarship of His Highness the Head of the State provided the students with all possible means to help them study full-time with satisfaction, and exert maximum effort to achieve honorable success; for them, their families, and their country.
