His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Chancellor of UAE University, stressed that the Emirati people have become one of the most passionate peoples of the world about keeping pace with all that is new and evolving, through achieving the top ranks in all fields, which has boosted their capabilities and positive energy for progress, development, and prosperity under our wise leadership.
His Excellency, in his speech on the occasion of honoring 44 leading Emirati figures, pointed out that the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, to honor the Emirati pioneers and top achievers is a pure national call that reflects a long-term future vision, which instills the spirit of leadership, ambition, and constant pursuit for the first places in all fields in the minds of our children, which has become a well-established fact in the hearts of all our sons and daughters, as they follow in the footsteps of their leadership that loves occupying the first positions, and has had many achievements in a very short time.
His Excellency stressed that our wise leadership has honored the top achievers of Emirati people, who have contributed to the progress and development of their country, for the second consecutive year, and this honoring reflects the State’s care for the UAE children and appreciation for their achievements in all fields, and contributes to the progress of the State and achieving advanced positions in the Global Competitiveness.
He pointed out that the positive and creative energies of the Emirati people, which have become one of the most important development and growth factors, contributed directly to the achievement of the national strategic plans, as they have all the elements of leadership, development, and optimal utilization of human resources and energies, expertise, and institutional and individual skills.
His Excellency stressed that the UAE has established a culture of creativity, innovation and ambition for the first positions, which opened the prospects for competition between the sons of the nation to come up with distinct ideas, solutions, and initiatives in several areas, whether at the level of individuals or institutions, in order for everyone to be in the first leadership positions, and such visions and ambitions have been fulfilled, and UAE people have occupied many advanced positions globally.
