The General Civil Aviation Authority approved the use of Enhanced Vision System (EVS) by (Royal Jet) Company in two of its (Bombardier Global 5000) jets, which have recently joined the Company’s fleet, so that (Royal Jet) has become the first private aviation operator in the country and the region that received official approval for the use of this cutting-edge technology.
His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Chairman of Royal Jet, approved the use of EVS in the two new (Boeing Business Jets) expected to join the Company’s fleet during the year.
Mr. Patrick Gordon, Acting President and CEO of (Royal Jet), said that the Company is doing its best to set new safety and service standards in the private aviation sector, and last year, its jets traveled to more than 250 airports in more than 105 countries around the world, pointing out that EVS increases the ability of their crews for the external vision, which enhances the safety standards aboard.
It is noteworthy that (Royal Jet) fleet comprises 11 jets, and the Company is considered the largest private aviation operator of (Boeing Business Jet), which operates six jets of this model, in addition to two (Bombardier Global 5000) jets, two (Bombardier Learjet), and one (Gulfstream G300) jet.
