Hamdan bin Mubarak called all staff of the Ministry and higher education institutions in the State to participate in “Yemen: We Care”

In response to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has launched a major campaign to support the humanitarian situations in Yemen. His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stressed that all citizens and residents of UAE are accustomed to these initiatives that support the humanitarian work in the State, whose foundations were laid by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. His Excellency has called all staff of the Ministry and higher education institutions in the State to contribute to the campaign in support of their brothers in Yemen.
The campaign, themed (Yemen: We Care), started on Sunday morning, August 30th, and will continue for one month, in an effort to help about 10 million people affected by the recent Yemen’s conflict, by mobilizing support for the programs and projects of ERC to ease the suffering of those caught up in Yemen’s conflict.
His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan commended His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for patronizing the campaign, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent.
