His Excellency Sheikh “Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan”, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research received in his office at the Ministry’s headquarters Thursday March (13th),His Excellency the Kuwaiti Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education “Ahmad Al-Mulaifi” and his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by His Excellency “Salah Mohammed Al-Biajan”, Kuwait’s ambassador to the UAE, Dr. “Saleh Yasin”, President of the “Cultural Office”, “Rashid Al-Nuwahid”, Higher Education Undersecretary and Dr. “Majid Al-Saafak”, Director of the Minister’s Office.
During the meeting between the two Ministers and the accompanying delegation, they talked about the importance of promoting the cooperation in various areas of mutual interest in the field of education and higher education, and discussed opportunities for joint cooperation in the field of higher education, which provides important opportunities to increase the prospects for cultural and scientific exchanges, in addition to art and scientific exhibitions exchange between higher education institutions in both countries, this visit is a way to consolidate the brotherly relations that they share.
A delegation from the “Ministry of Education” of “Kuwait” recently participated in the seventh “Global Education Forum” and “Gulf Educational Supplies & Solutions” Exhibition which was held by the “Ministry of Education” in the UAE, in addition to many educators and specialists from the Gulf States.
The Kuwaiti Minister arrived to the UAE on Wednesday the (12th) of March, to attend the annual meeting of Kuwaiti students living in the UAE, “Oman” and “Qatar” which is held under his auspices and organized by the “Kuwaiti Cultural Office” in “Dubai”, to strengthen the cooperation in various fields especially education and higher education.
