Hamdan Bin Mubarak congratulates the 33rd batch of UAE University graduates

His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Chancellor of UAE University, thanked his Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, and the sponsor of the country’s cultural civilization, who always seeks to make UAE citizens happy. He also commended the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who founded the UAE University, and launched the educational renaissance in the State, in a speech delivered by his Excellency at the graduation ceremony of the 33rd batch of UAE University students in Al Ain City, Abu Dhabi, on Tuesday 6/5/2014.

His Excellency expressed his appreciation for his Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, who patronized the ceremony, for his support and interest in the development of the educational process in the UAE in general, and in UAE University in particular, since it is considered the leading national university which supplies the State with batches of qualified graduates every year.

His Excellency also expressed his thanks and appreciation for His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for sponsoring the educational system and his keenness to benefit from the distinguished international educational experiences and develop them. He also thanked his Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, on the big efforts exerted for supporting the higher educational process in the UAE, appreciating his Excellency’s efforts to keep pace with the latest scientific and academic developments.

His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan congratulated the graduates on this occasion, and he was confident that they will always be an example of the distinguished performance and responsibility, armed with science and knowledge in order to serve their country and people. He also thanked the faculty members for their constant and distinguished efforts in serving the scientific and educational process.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, with Dr. Ali Rashid Al Noaimi, UAEU Vice Chancellor, handed the certificates to the 434 graduates, who studied in the colleges of Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Business and Economics, Law, Food and Agriculture, Engineering, Information Technology, Graduate Studies -Master-, and Medicine and Health Sciences. 61 of the graduates received the degree of excellence, and swore before his Highness , who called on them to seek more science and knowledge from different channels and resources, to continuously add to their experiences and skills, and to follow the same approach that the State has been following since its establishment.
